Process Design Manager (Safety)

Alexandra (West)

Responsibilities:

• Keep informed of technical developments in the process industries by maintaining contact with clients, research institutions and technical societies.
• Supervision of the Design Safety Engineers reporting to һіm and take ultimately responsible for technical accuracy,  quality and economy of process design.
• Ensure proper usage of FW systems and tools to ensure consistency in carrying out process activities.

Requirements:

• Graduate Chemical Engineer with about 15-20 years of Process design wіtһ  Design Safety experience in Refinery, chemicals and Petrochemical Plants.
• Knowledge of simulation using commercial simulators for carrying out dispersion analysis, Environmental Impact assessment and Quantitative Risk Analysis.
• Knowledge and hands on experience in carrying out Hazid and Hazops and should be capable of chairing such reviews.
• Experience in preparation of the design of fire fighting facilities in refinery and petrochemicals plants.
• Exposure and knowledge of International codes, standards and local regulations on emissions for Safe design of Hydrocarbon handling units.
• Capable to prepare Design Safety Plans of multi unit complex.
• Knowledge of Process design to review P&IDs, Area classification drawings and PƖοt Plans.
• Knowledge of Waste Treatment System and disposal systems design will be considered as an added advantage.
