Sales Representative – Digital Technologies and Services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the customer base in the oil and gas industry for digital solutions.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new leads and business opportunities within the energy sector and related industries.
  • Prospect new business opportunities, including leads generation, market research, and cold calling.
  • Set ambitious sales goals and drive the sales funnel to achieve them, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at oil and gas companies, including executives, engineers, and procurement teams.
  • Present and demonstrate our digital solutions to potential clients, showcasing how our technology can improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety.
  • Work closely with the product management, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met and to influence product development based on market feedback.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, digital transformation technologies, and market developments in the oil and gas sector.
  • Track and report on sales performance, market development, and market feedback to senior management.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote our solutions.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of sales experience, with a focus on digital solutions, technology, or services in the oil and gas industry specifically artificial lift.
  • Strong knowledge of the oil and gas industry and its challenges, with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling complex technology solutions to enterprise-level customers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong network within the oil and gas sector is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in selling IoT, cloud-based, or AI-driven technologies.
  • Familiarity with upstream, midstream, or downstream operations in the oil and gas sector.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and safety standards.
