Overview & Responsibilities
Purpose:
The Director of the EEE Academy is responsible for overseeing all training and development initiatives across Ebara Elliott Energy (EEE). This role ensures employees receive comprehensive technical training, leadership development, skills enhancement, and compliance education to support organizational goals and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the EEE Academy, aligning training programs with EEE’s business objectives.
- Collaborate with business units to identify training needs and evaluate program outcomes through metrics and feedback.
- Design and manage technical training programs focused on energy industry skills, equipment, and technologies.
- Create and oversee leadership development initiatives to build a pipeline of effective leaders.
- Facilitate skills development programs to enhance core competencies such as communication, problem-solving, and project management.
- Ensure compliance training meets regulatory and safety requirements, maintaining accurate records and monitoring effectiveness.
- Manage the Academy’s budget, resources, and learning technologies, including learning management systems (LMS) and Competency Management System (CMS).
- Lead a team of training professionals, providing direction and fostering professional growth.
Scope of Role:
- Oversees all aspects of employee training and development globally within EEE.
- Integrates innovative learning methods, such as e-learning and hands-on workshops.
- Ensures alignment with industry advancements and organizational priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Operations Management, Engineering); Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in operational or business management roles, with a proven track record of driving process improvement, efficiency, and organizational growth.
- 5+ years of leadership experience overseeing cross-functional teams or strategic business initiatives, ideally with involvement in program or capability development.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling organizational programs, with a focus on establishing and growing initiatives like the EEE Academy to support business objectives.
- Strong expertise in aligning operational strategies with business goals, particularly in the energy or industrial sector, to drive the development of a world-class training academy.
- Deep understanding of business operations, including workflow optimization, resource management, cross-departmental coordination, performance analysis, and strategic planning & forecasting, with an ability to apply these to enhance the EEE Academy’s impact.
- Familiarity with learning technologies and program management to support the Academy’s development is a plus.
