Located in Baton Rouge, LA
Salary: $18- $22+/hr.
Express is currently looking for an experienced Service Technician. In this role, the successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals.
Pay starting at $18-22+/hour (depending on experience)
FULL-TIME/LONG TERM
- Schedule may vary depending on the company*
Responsibilities include :
- Work on gas, diesel, and sometimes electrical engines
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil change
- Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop
- Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs
- Perform regular diagnostic tests like changing tracks on skid steers, boom lifts, forklifts, and scissor lifts
- Type Up Work Orders
Required Skills:
- 5+ years’ experience in a mechanic role
- Experience with hydraulics or freightliners is a PLUS
- Must possess a valid DL license
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- ASE Diesel Certification preferred
